The Taylor Treehouse
A Lesson in Adaptability and Perseverance
Welcome to the Taylor Treehouse, our labor of love that's been years in the making! My husband is doing the vast majority of the work himself, and he is meticulous. While it's not your typical treehouse nestled among the branches, it's perched securely on a sloped ledge, providing us with a truly unique perspective on life. Our story is one of dedication, determination, and a hint of madness, all wrapped up in the ongoing transformation of our house from the ground up.
This isn't just a construction project, it's a journey we embarked together, living amidst the clutter of materials and unfinished rooms, but every moonrise, sunrise, and occasional double rainbow reminds us of nature's lesson of beauty and perseverance. We call this place home and have done our best to adapt while finding a balance of work and play. At this time the kitchen, which was completely gutted during the pandemic, is still under construction but functional. No more cooking in the makeshift "kitchen" in our unfinished living room.
As for whether this is a labor of love or just crazy, the answer might depend on when and which one of us you ask. But one thing is certain- the Taylor Treehouse is a place where our dreams and reality collide, where every sunrise reminds us of the beauty of perseverance, and every moonrise adds a touch of magic to our ongoing adventure.
